CV Advice

When it comes to your CV you already know that a good CV is your entry key. But what makes a CV be a good CV?

Some guidelines you might want to consider in order to increase your chances of working in the oil and gas industry (either as an entry-level oil worker or as an experienced oil industry professional):

1. Keep it short, concise, yet detailed on your work experience.

2. Use paragraphs to highlight.

3. Always state the software you know.

4. Double check, then triple check, for spelling mistakes.

5. Make sure your CV is at least one page long. Two or three pages is the best, unless otherwise instructed by the job ads or the recruiters themselves.

6. Always focus on the important parts of your career & education.

7. Design your CV to make it look very optimistic/bright. Do not use fancy words, however pick your words carefully.
